Turn ON and OFF Airplane Mode
The quickest and easier way to fix bad reception on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is to turn on and off airplane mode. Airplane Mode turns off your cell service and then back on by searching for the closest cellular tower for the best connection for your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
All you need to do to turn on and off Airplane Mode on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access iPhone’s quick settings. Here you’ll see an airplane logo on the left side of the screen. Tap on the airplane button to turn on Airplane Mode and then tap on it again to turn Airplane Mode off.
Restart iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus
If turning on and off Airplane Mode didn’t work, other method to solve the bad reception on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is restarting your iPhone. Start by turning off your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and wait a few minutes, then turn it back on to see if the signal reception has gotten better.
Reset Network Settings on iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus
If none of the above methods work to fix the bad iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus reception, you can reset network settings. This method won’t delete any of your data, pictures or other info on your iPhone. All it will do is clear the history of WiFi networks and other data related to your network. You can reset network settings by opening the Settings app. Then tap on General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
