RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army has sacked 12 senior officers over debasement accusations, in what is being hailed as a strong move by the military days after Army Chief General Raheel Sharif called for removing defilement and in all cases responsibility.
As indicated by sources in the military, the senior officers were sacked after a long-running inside request being directed inside the Army for over a year.
The sacked officers incorporate one lieutenant-general, one noteworthy general, five brigadiers, one colonel, three lieutenant-colonels and an officer of the rank of major. The officers served in the Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan.
