Solution #1.

Hard Reboot

Many a time, some miscellaneous bugs can be fixed with just powering down your device and giving it a little much needed rest. Press the sleep/wake button and the Home button of your iPhone at once to switch it off. Wait for a while and restart your device in the same way as you have used in powering it off.

Solution #2.

Turn Off Raise to Listen
Raise to Listen is a unique feature that enables you to listen as well as reply to any incoming audio message instantly by raising the device to your ear. When you use your iPhone in landscape mode, the audio message might unnecessarily be prompted and hence creating this annoying issue. To avoid this face off with the incoming audio message, turn it off.

Launch Settings app  Scroll down and tap on Message → Turn off Raise to Listen

Solution #3. Update Your iPhone to Latest iOS

This issue could be due to ill-conceived update as well. So, if there is any latest update available, upgrade your iPhone. Make sure to do so through iTunes as it is considered to be better than over the air update (Settings → General → Software Update).

Just connect your device to Mac or PC, launch iTunes, select your iPhone from the menu and update to the latest version. That’s it! It may be a bit lengthy but it is safer as compared to OTA update.

Solution #4.Reset Your iPhone

Resetting your iPhone can do the trick for you. Many users have found success with it. Before you move ahead with this process, you need to know that resetting will make some minor changes with your phone. Though it won’t delete any files or photos.

Step #1. Launch Settings

Step #2. Tap on General

Step #3. Scroll down and tap on Reset

Step #4. Tap on Reset All Settings

Solution #5. Restore Your iDevice

If all the above mentioned solutions don’t work out, here is another trick. Restoring from a backup you made with an older iPhone could also be one of the possible reasons. In this event, setup your device as new, factory reset it. Of course, it will be a bit radical but it can help solve this bug.

Please Note: Restoring your iPhone will delete all the media and data and then install the latest version of software. Hence, you should backup all the data of your phone (Settings → iCloud) before going ahead with the process.

Step #3. Select your phone from the menu.
