Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumored to have 3x zoom dual camera
The famous Apple analyst and Apple prophesy teller Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a dual camera with a telephoto lens and has now augmented his prediction. According to him the telephoto will be 3x zoom. This was first reported by a Chinese micro-blogging site.
If this actually true then Note 8 is going to be the first smartphone by Samsung to support dual cameras, if only the company doesn’t unveil the Galaxy C10 which is also believed to come with two cameras at the back. Ming-Chi Kuo earlier said that Note 8 will sport a 12-megapixel wide-angle CIS (CMOS image sensors) which will be coupled with dual photodiode and enable users to capture better low-light shots. While the secondary camera will sport a 13-megapixel telephoto CIS with dual 6P technology and 3X zoom.
The South Korean smartphone maker has started sending out media invites for the Galaxy Note 8 that mention “Do bigger things”. Rumors hint that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 6.3-inch display, a bit bigger than recently launched Galaxy S8. In the invite Samsung also writes “Find out what it means to do bigger things on 08.23.2017,” in its tweet. This doesn’t say much. But it obviously states that a phone with a big screen is coming though. Also, this tweet hints that the device will come with the signature S Pen and it will come with a similar display like Galaxy S8.
Other leaker reveals that Galaxy Note 8 will be carried in two phases. First in September in selected markets like South Korea (obviously), United States and United Kingdom. And in October we can expect it in other markets.
